Compassionate Assistance for the Victims of Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence

Intake Advocacy Specialist

LARC DVS is seeking compassionate applicants for our           Intake Advocacy Specialist opening. 
The team member in this role will answer phone calls, assist walk-ins, assess for advocacy needs, and help maintain portions of our database system.
This position is 35 hours per week, with paid vacation, sick, and holidays, in addition to other available benefits.
Qualified applicants must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. 
Applicants must be professional, self-starting, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. 
Must also have knowledge of database systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Publisher.
Minimum of two-years of college education and/or an associate's degree required. Bi-lingual skills preferred.

Weekend Day Shelter Advocate

LARC DVS is seeking compassionate applicant for our Weekend Day Shelter Advocate opening. 
Team member in this role answer crisis/hotline phone and will provide advocacy and support to individuals and their families residing in the LARC DVS Shelter. 
This position is 24 hours per weekend and all LARC DVS scheduled holidays. 
Qualified applicant will have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. 
Applicant must be professional, self-starting, and able to work independently in a team environment. The ability to lift 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs is required. 
Minimum of high school diploma is required. 
Bi-lingual skills preferred.
