Police Response  Advocate

 LARC DVS is seeking compassionate applicants for our Police Response Advocate (PRA) program, this is a voluntary position only in Seward County. Team members in this role will provide advocacy and support to victims of crime: domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in an on-call setting, responding along with law enforcement to the scene. There is a minimal stipend per shift provided.


Qualified applicants must have an understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Applicants must be professional, self-starting, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

       

 Requirements:

  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Valid Kansas driver's license
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
